Whether your TN traffic challan is for overspeeding, riding a two-wheeler without a helmet or jumping signal.

In 2024, over 55 lakhs traffic challans were issued across the State and mostly challan issued in Chennai. The majority were for speeding, jumping a signal, and not wearing a helmet (a lot are for two wheeler riders).

  • Download and open the CarInfo app from the Play Store or App Store.
  • Tap on "Pay Challan"
  • Enter your vehicle number (for example, TN01AB1234)
